Terms
What this site is, what it is not, and the limits of what you can rely on.
This is general engineering information. Guides describe common practice and typical architectures. They are not a review of your store, a security audit, or legal, tax, VAT or consumer-law advice for your market.
Verify before you ship. Code, configuration and cost figures in these guides are starting points written against a moving target. Platform pricing, payment provider rules and browser behaviour change; test everything against your own catalogue and your own checkout before it takes a real order.
Payments and tax are your responsibility. Where a guide shows a checkout, a tax rule or a shipping calculation, the correctness of that setup in your jurisdiction is yours to confirm with your own adviser. We describe patterns; we do not accept responsibility for what your store charges a customer.
Outcomes are not promised. Nothing on this site guarantees that a store will reach a given conversion rate, ranking or revenue. Results depend on your products, your market and your operations.
Accuracy and availability. We correct errors as we find them and re-date the affected guide, but we do not warrant that every page is complete or current, or that the site is available without interruption.
Content ownership. The text and design of this site belong to us. Quoting a passage with a link back is welcome; republishing whole guides is not.
